These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Go Live Golf (the "Service"), a project operated by Codie Dog Interactive ("Go Live Golf," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account, watching a live round, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and record bets. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
2. The Service
Go Live Golf is a live-scoring and golf-game tracking platform. It lets golfers set up rounds, enter scores, track games such as Wolf, skins and Nassau, share a live link so spectators can follow along, and calculate handicaps and settlements automatically. Golfers and spectators can use the Service for free; optional Golf Pro memberships are paid.
3. Roles and access
The Service supports several roles — golfer, spectator and golf pro — each with different access. When you share a live round link, anyone with that link can view the round's scores and money standings. Do not share links or invite spectators to rounds where you do not want that information visible.
4. Friendly bets and settlement
Go Live Golf does not process, hold, transfer or facilitate real-money gambling. The Service is a scoring and record-keeping tool that tracks friendly bets among you and your playing group and calculates who owes who. Any amounts shown are informational only. You are solely responsible for settling up among yourselves and for ensuring that any wagering complies with the laws that apply to you. We are not a party to your bets and are not responsible for collecting, holding or paying out any money.
5. Golf Pro memberships and commissions
Golf Pro accounts are billed on a recurring basis at the price shown at sign-up (currently $10/month) until cancelled. Golf Pros may earn recurring commissions on qualifying subscribers as described in the Service. Commission eligibility, rates and payouts are subject to the applicable terms and to our verification. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. You may cancel a membership at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful gambling or any illegal activity;
- Enter false scores or impersonate another golfer, spectator or pro;
- Harass, threaten or post abusive, obscene or infringing content;
- Attempt to access accounts, data or systems without authorization;
- Scrape, disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the Service;
- Resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of the scores, comments and other content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display and use that content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including showing it to your group and spectators. You are responsible for the content you post and confirm you have the rights to share it.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos and the "Go Live Golf" and "Codie Dog Interactive" names, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
9. Third-party data and links
The Service may use third-party data, such as official handicap information, and may link to third-party sites. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, accuracy or practices. Your use of third-party services is governed by their terms.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores, handicaps or settlement calculations will be accurate. You use the Service at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Live Golf and Codie Dog Interactive will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, data or disputes over bets or settlements, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or US $50.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses, disclaimers and limitations of liability — will survive.
13. Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Codie Dog Interactive is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
