How does an app help you find golf partners?
A golf partner app connects golfers who want to play at the same time. Go Live Golf does it three ways: public open-spot posts, matching by usual tee times, and scheduled text invites to your own regulars with a one-tap claim link.

How to fill a tee time with Go Live Golf
Plan the round once and let the invites go out on schedule.
Add your booked tee time
Enter the course, date, time and group size — a foursome, fivesome or more.
Choose who to invite
Pick a first wave, such as your Saturday regulars, and a second wave of alternates.
Schedule the texts
Send the first wave now or at a set time, such as Wednesday at 6pm for the weekend.
Players claim a spot
Each invite has a one-tap claim link. First come, first served, with a waitlist that promotes automatically.
Start the round on the day
When it's time to tee off, the plan pre-fills the round setup so you can start scoring straight away.
Ways to find a game in Go Live Golf
Whether you need one more for Saturday or a regular group, these tools work together.
Open spots
Post a one-off tee time or a weekly game. Golfers request a spot and you accept or decline.
Usual tee times
Save the days and time windows you play to see golfers whose times overlap.
Waves of text invites
Invite regulars first, then alternates if spots are still open.
Waitlist auto-promotion
If someone drops out, the next golfer on the waitlist moves in and you're notified.
Regulars and friend invites
Keep a list of regulars, or text a friend a sign-up link that adds you to each other's regulars.
Booking link
Save your club's booking page so “Book tee time” is one tap away.
Who can see you and contact you?
- No contact info on the players list. Golfers are matched by when they play, not by phone number.
- You approve requests. When someone asks to join an open spot, you accept or decline.
- Report and block. Posts can be reported and golfers blocked, the same as comments.
- Your booking link is private. Only you see your saved club booking page.
Frequently asked questions
Is there an app to find people to play golf with?
Yes. Go Live Golf's Find a Game feature lets you post open spots, see golfers whose usual tee times overlap with yours, and request to join their games.
How do I fill an open spot in my foursome?
Add the tee time as a planned round, choose who to invite, and the app texts them a one-tap claim link. The first to claim gets the spot, and others go on a waitlist.
Can I invite my regular group first?
Yes. Invites go out in waves: your first wave, such as your regulars, then a second wave of alternates after a set number of hours if spots are still open.
Does the app share my phone number with other golfers?
No. The players list matches golfers by when they play, without showing contact details.
Is Find a Game free?
Yes. It is part of the free golfer account.
Never play a threesome by accident again
Plan the round, text the group, and let the spots fill themselves. Free.
