A golf tournament app with a live leaderboard

Go Live Golf includes tournament tools for club events, charity scrambles and member-guests. A tournament director sets up the event and a public event page, players score on their own phones, the field is split into flights automatically, and a public leaderboard updates live.

The short answer

What does a golf tournament app do?

A golf tournament app replaces paper cards and a scoreboard. Players enter scores on their phones during the event, and the app calculates gross and net results, splits the field into flights, and shows a live leaderboard anyone can follow.

How to run a golf tournament in Go Live Golf

The director does the setup once. After that, scoring and the leaderboard run themselves.

  1. Create the event

A tournament director enters the course, date, format, gross or net basis, and any entry fee or purse details.

  2. Publish the event page

The public page shows course photos, the full event details and a contact form that goes to the director.

  3. Set the flights

Players are split into flights automatically, so each group competes against similar handicaps.

  4. Players score live

Each group scores on a phone. The public leaderboard updates as holes are saved.

  5. Final results

When the last group finishes, the leaderboard shows the winners in every flight.
